Marti Frumhoff — friend, colleague, sister, activist, daughter, artist, community leader — only a few of the many ways to describe one person who touched so many and who was taken from us far too soon.

Welcome to our online memorial site dedicated to creating a physical rememberace to thank Marti for the positive impact she had on each of us and our City. Marti contributed so much, and we want to create something in her honor to remember those contributions that she left as her legacy.

Enter the memorial garden. Proposed at hand is a slice of land within the Tower Grove South neighborhood (Marti’s home for the last 20+ years), located at the intersection of Morgan Ford and Utah St along the edge of the burgeoning Morganford business district. The Morgan Ford business district encompasses what Marti would have referred to as an “urban main street” — the subject of over a year’s worth of work on a forthcoming website project Marti was developing, thus marking this location and site as an appropriate option for us to explore. Marti was also the founder of the St. Louis Rehabbers Club as well as President of ReVitalize St. Louis.

New way to donate! Buy fantastic items to contribute to the cause with proceeds going directly toward the fundraising. Visit “Gems for a Garden” by clicking here.

Organizers of this project are:
Christian Herman, Tower Grove South resident, friend of Marti and block captain steering committee
Christopher Thiemet, colleage and friend of Marti
Peggy Hoelting, TGS Resident, friend of Marti's and the memorial garden designer

Lots to come, please check back for updates and don’t forget to donate to the memorial fund now!
